Call for gifts for the Murray River Police District Children's Hospital Christmas Appeal

25 Nov by Albury Tigers Club

The countdown to Christmas has officially begun!

We’re calling on all players, families, supporters, sponsors and members of the Albury Tigers Club to dig deep and donate toys and other special items for young patients spending Christmas Day in hospital.

Since 2021, this wonderful community initiative—led by local police with the support of Albury Wodonga Health, Victoria Police and the Australian Defence Force—has delivered hundreds of gifts to children in the Albury Hospital Paediatric Ward. Each year, it brings smiles, laughter and a touch of Christmas magic to kids who need it most.

Here’s how you can help:
• Next time you’re out shopping, simply pop an extra gift into your basket.
• Gifts can be for children up to 16 years old.
• No gift is too small!
• Please ensure all gifts are new and left unwrapped.

Donation Drop-Off
Location: Albury Tigers Club
When: Now until Tuesday, 2nd December
Times: Monday–Friday, 10AM–4PM
Contact: Aaron West – 0404 832 362

All donated items will then be delivered to the Albury Police Station for distribution.

Christmas in hospital is tough for anyone—especially kids. This is a small but meaningful way we can brighten their day and show them they’re not alone.
